Access Property Management is pleased to announce that Alex Scheffer has been chosen as one of 30 exceptional professionals by the Institute of Real Estate Management’s (IREM) “30 under 30” for 2017 Recognition Program! This acknowledgement of the next generation of real estate management leaders selects 30 full time professionals under the age of 30 who have shown talent or leadership on the job by making unique and significant contributions to the profession. The “30 Under 30” designees are spotlighted in a cover story in IREM’s publication, the Journal of Property Management. The “30 under 30” candidates are selected from a group of nominations submitted by managers from across the country.

IREM Involvement
Alex earned his Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations from IREM. After doing so, he set up classes for and mentored others in the company who are working towards earning these designations. He maintains a full portfolio while also assisting our affiliated contracting company by helping to develop marketing materials and strategies. Alex is also extremely involved in his local IREM Chapter. Most notably he is involved in IREM’s Young Professionals Committee. During the holiday season, Alex coordinated the contributions of toys, gift cards, and more from Access Property Management to St. Rocco’s Emergency Family Shelter. This agency supports mothers and their children who find themselves in dire situations. Alex truly cares about the people around him and knows he can make an impact by giving back.
